Information for Clinicians, Support Centers, and More

We are always looking for new ways to partner with clinics, therapists, support programs, emergency services, and whoever else may want to connect people with CTHVN. We offer many options and strive to meet each program where they are and build from there. Below are some of the ways we can connect:

Support groups: Interested in providing space to host a CTHVN support group? These groups can either be open to the public, or held within facilities to support inpatients. Our goal is for all support groups to be at least partially peer-led, so we partner with organizations to identify or train group facilitators in their area.

Presentations: A virtual or in-person presentation lasting about an hour, which gives an overview of CTHVN and teaches key basics for supporting people who hear voices, see visions, struggle with paranoia, or have other alternate experiences.

Training: We hold half-day facilitator basics trainings on a quarterly basis. Some organizations may be eligible to get staff trained.

Referral: Of course we are always available to talk with you about people you think may benefit from our program, and provide you with any information or resources we have available at that time.

If any of the above sound like they might be a good fit for you, or if you have something else in mind, contact our program coordinator Skye Collins (they/them) at (860) 952-4050 or at scollins@advocacyunlimited.org. Talk to you soon!
